HEP Bookstore has downsized and is now part of Home Education Partnership of Texas, Inc. (HEP TX) located at HEPTX.com

Founded in 2000, the HEP Bookstore, L.L.C. operated as a full service homeschool store located in SE Houston until 2020. Downsizing in 2020, the store now operates as a school store for Home Education Partnership of Texas (HEP TX).  Owned and operated by Joanne Juren, the HEP Bookstore offers consulting, seminars and workshops, and custom designed high school diplomas. It also sells the books and other items needs by the students who take classes at HEP TX.

Serving Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society and the National Home School Science Honor Society, the HEP Bookstore carries honor society shawls, patches, graduation items, t-shirts, jewelry, and related honor society products now available on etasigmaalpha.com.

The IOWA standardized test is offered each spring.

Home Education Partnership of Texas Inc., founded in 1997, offers over 100 classes per week. HEP TX offers a Pre-K 3 to Kindergarten program for our youngest students. Our elementary Classical School offers a two day a week program for grades 1-7. HEP TX’s award winning Journey Through Time Honors Humanities program offers a true, history driven classical approach to the great literature of western civilization. With a strong foundation in Rhetoric, students receive extensive writing instruction while learning through a variety of activities such as history simulations, Socratic Seminar discussions, projects, Latin/Greek word study, etc. With 18 honors/AP styled courses in mathematics, science, speech, and humanities, students are not only ready for the rigors of a bachelor degree, many will continue through the masters and doctoral level.

At Home Education Partnership of Texas, students receive an education in the liberal arts and sciences, and receive instruction in the principles of moral character and civil virtue.

Home Education Partnership of Texas also offers group classes and summer camps for homeschoolers and their parents, along with a long list of other services and activities for our students.

Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society is the first honor society established exclusively for homeschooled students in Grades 9-12. Founded in 1999 by Joanne E. Juren, M.Ed., it has grown into an international organization with several chapters over the years in Mexico, Europe, and Africa. Serving students across the United States, ESA provides a wonderful opportunity for leadership, service, networking, and socialization for homeschooled students.
